How to Catch Video

YouTube is a wonderful website. There you can find almost anything you imagine, and nowadays there are many people who can hardly remember the last time they sat and watched television, or went to buy video DVDs. YouTube offers music, documentaries, movies, animations, many educational and entertaining clips that cater for all tastes and needs. The only major downside is that YouTube does not offer you the way to catch video, which means you always have to wait for a video to buffer, waste the bandwidth and money. Fortunately for us, there are some methods to catch YouTube video and one of them is provided by RealPlayer.

RealPlayer has a really nice catch video converter that lets you capture YouTube video on the go as you browse the Web. The player integrates into the browser and lets you download video using the "Download This Video" button that appears in the top right corner of the video window each time you hover the mouse over the content. So whatever is being played in the browser can now be downloaded to the local computer with a single click, and you can even convert it to a variety of formats that will be compatible with different mobile devices. Plus, you can trim captured content to remove unnecessary scenes in the start and the end, burn captured video clips to DVD using the built-in CD recording feature, share your clips with friends on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Linkedin, and upload video to many mobile devices. Just connect the phone to the computer and click the "Copy to" button. The program converts video to the correct format and moves it to the mobile device.

Here's a short tutorial how to catch YouTube video. Of course, everything begins by installing the RealPlayer software. You can download the player for free from the official website here: http://www.realplayer.com Once installed, the program is ready to catch video without any additional setup.
